In addition to our core principals, all of our jobs are overseen by our senior level project managers and superintendents who have been in the field an average of 25 years. We are committed to training our younger staff members correctly. We place them in the field with experienced superintendents, enroll them in OSHA seminars and accredited courses at local universities. At all levels, we pride ourselves on properly communicating to execute each and every job to the highest possible standards. We also partner with only experienced sub-contractors who employ skilled craftsmen that have proven they can deliver a project as promised. If necessary, we’ll utilize our network to refer talented architects, engineers, consultants and designers for a specific assignment as well.
Louis D. March Jr.
President
Louis D. March Jr. started March Associates Construction, Inc. in 2003 bringing with him over 10 years experience in the construction industry. As President, Lou is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the business. Working with clients to ensure their projects successful completion is top priority so Lou makes sure to personally train and develop all Project Managers on economical planning and adherence to schedules.
Louis D. March Jr.’s construction career began at the University of Cincinnati where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. Lou was then an Assistant Superintendent for a large New York City construction firm on such projects as Trump Plaza – New York, Madison Square Garden – Felt Forum, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Elmhurst Hospital in Queens.
Lou then worked for March Associates, Inc. working his way up through the corporate ranks. He was first a Project Superintendent, then a Project Manager/Executive and ultimately Vice President. Lou managed and completed a diverse group of projects including Home Depots, several Lowes Home Improvement Stores, PHP Healthcare Facilities, Bob’s Stores, Super A & P Shopping Mall, Oak Park Commons, Clifton Commons, Edison Crossroads, Hillsborough Promenade, and 79 Hudson Street 7-story office building in Hoboken, New Jersey.
In addition to being the President of March Associates Construction, Inc., Lou is a member of Building Contractors Association in New Jersey, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Karl Hoermann
Executive Vice President
And Director of Safety
Karl Hoermann is the Executive Vice President and Director of Safety for March Associates Construction, Inc. His responsibilities include overseeing all projects on the field supervision level by ensuring that not only will each project finish on time and within budget but also that safety is of the utmost importance.
Karl brings with him over twenty years of construction experience that started when he operated his own site work company. He then worked for March Associates, Inc. where he started as a Project Superintendent on such complexes as the Office Center at Montebello, Park 17 Office Center in Rochelle Park, and the Irvington Care Center. Karl at March Associates, Inc. was also the General Superintendent as well as the Vice President of Field Operations.
Karl as an Executive Vice President and Director of Safety for March Associates Construction, Inc. has completed his OSHA-500 training, is an authorized OSHA-10 Hour and OSHA-30 Hour Construction Trainer and maintains his OSHA-40 Hour HAZWOPER which enables March Associates Construction, Inc. to deal with environmental projects and all aspects of health and safety that is required to run each particular project.
Todd Laubach
Vice President
Todd Laubach started with March Associates Construction, Inc. in October of 2005 as a Project Executive. As Project Executive, he has overseen the Whole Foods projects as well as the Targets and industrial project particular. In late 2007, Todd was promoted to Vice President and now oversees supermarket projects, industrial and big box retail projects as his specialty. Todd also maintains involvement in budgeting, bidding projects and business development.
Todd’s previous experience began with a degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University as well as a degree in Construction Management from New York University.
Todd then started his career at March Associates, Inc. starting in 1997 as an Assistant Construction Superintendent and then a Project Superintendent. He completed such projects as Oak Park Commons – South Plainfield, New Jersey; Target, Bridgewater, New Jersey; Target, Milltown, New Jersey and Target, Watchung, New Jersey.
In 2000, Todd was promoted to Project Manager for March Associates, Inc. and completed projects such as the South Brunswick Warehouse in New Jersey; Cabot Industrial Trust Building in Cranbury, New Jersey; ProLogis at Cranbury Business Park in New Jersey; Targets in North Bergen, East Hanover and South Brunswick, New Jersey; Bishop AHR High School in Edison, New Jersey; Port Chester Downtown Redevelopment in Port Chester, New York; and The Toys R Us Headquarters in Wayne, New Jersey.
Teresa Reich
Treasurer
Teresa Reich is the Treasurer for March Associates Construction, Inc. She is responsible for overseeing the entire accounting department including accounts payable, receivables and payroll. Also, she works with our outside accountants to prepare our company financial statements.
Teresa came to March Associates Construction, Inc. with more than twenty years of construction accounting experience working with various construction companies along the way. Teresa was a Cost Accountant, Assistant and Controller for these construction companies. Teresa then worked for March Associates, Inc. as their Controller before joining March Associates Construction, Inc. in 2005.
Teresa graduated from Montclair State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
