The Stop & Shop Averne project was awarded to March Associates Construction, Inc. on a competitively bid lump sum basis.
The supermarket is located in Averne, New York in the Rockaway Beach section of Queens.
The supermarket was constructed on both helical and timber piles. Building was located 13 feet away from an elevated train. Job was completed in the winter of 2011.
