On June 18th, we joined Daylight Transport, Mayor Steven Fulop, city officials, and community members to officially cut the ribbon on their brand-new, state-of-the-art service center in Jersey City, NJ.
“This is a celebration of a vision… I am going to thank, first off, March Construction. One of the sites required significant environmental remediation, and rather than shy away from that challenge, we embraced it…”
— Greg Steele, President of Daylight Transport
Built in partnership with March Construction, this 11.5-acre terminal strengthens Daylight’s Northeast footprint and sets a new standard for speed, service, and sustainability.
“March and Team did a fantastic job on our facility. Ten months from ground break to CO and on budget!” — Greg Steele, President of Daylight Transport
Originally operational since November 1, 2024, the facility is already making a powerful impact — from faster, more efficient LTL service to the creation of over 70 new jobs and a $250,000 annual boost in local tax revenue.
With upgraded sidewalks, a modern pump station, and full soil remediation of a previously contaminated site, this project brings long-term value to the Jersey City community.
Congratulations to Daylight Transport on this major milestone, and thank you for letting us be a part of it!
