Walmart Expansion-Commercial Retail Building
The Walmart in Berlin, NJ consisted of a partial demolition and expansion of an open and operational Walmart converting it from a standard general merchandise store to a Walmart Supercenter with a full and complete grocery department with a new total square footage of 154,000.
The construction consisted of a partial demolition of the front, two sides and rear of the existing building adding a grocery box, two new vestibule entrances, a front and rear of ce package and a new receiving area and loading dock area. The utility services were upgraded along with extensive upgrades to the parking lot and access roads.
