Location & Scope: Construction of nearly 70,000 square feet of industrial space is starting in Wayne at 125 Pompton Plains Crossroad. The site covers six acres and is conveniently located near Route 23 and Route 202.

Financing: An affiliate of March Construction has secured funding for the project, covering land purchase and construction costs. The financing was arranged with Kearny Bank by G.S. Wilcox & Co.

Project Features: The new facility will boast 12 loading docks and 40-foot ceilings, replacing three old buildings and a truck storage yard.

Team & Marketing: March Construction is marketing the space with Cushman & Wakefield. The project team includes Bohler Engineering and Anderson Design Group.

Impact: In a quote from Lou, “We believe it will have a positive impact on the community. This site has been a parking lot and equipment storage for heavy highway earth moving equipment for years. This site has had no storm drainage design nor control. The new development will bring full storm water control measures to the site, will have a building up to today’s energy code modeling. The site currently has egress to side street, and the approved development will only have access onto Pompton plains crossroads.”
