MARCH ASSOCIATES CONSTRUCTION GIVES DONATION TO CHILTON CANCER CENTER TO FUND NURSE NAVIGATOR
March 28, 2016, Pompton Plains, NJ – March Associates Construction of Wayne has donated $78,000 toward the funding of a Nurse Navigator position in the Cancer Center at Chilton Medical Center.
Nurse Navigators are patient educators and advocates, care coordinators, system guides, and community ambassadors who help improve the cancer experience for each patient. They guide and support the patient and family at a critical time — after diagnosis and through treatment —and serve as a gateway to health services. They also empower patients to make informed treatment decisions and remain a support system throughout the patient’s entire cancer treatment and beyond.
“Funding at this level will help the Chilton Cancer Center offer a nurse navigator to its patients, rounding out the comprehensive and compassionate care we deliver to the community,” said Joan Beloff, Chief Development Officer of Chilton Medical Center. “We are so grateful to March Associates Construction for providing this extraordinary resource to our patients.”

The Chilton Cancer Center is dedicated to providing cancer patient’s access to the finest doctors, most promising medical treatments and newest clinical innovations – where they’re needed most, close to home. It recently earned a three-year Accreditation with Commendation by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer.
