There was a big turnout for The Crossings at Brick Church Stations’ Groundbreaking Ceremony. Many township officials and dignitaries attended, including Governor Phil Murphy and Mayor Ted Green of East Orange. An investment group broke ground on a $500 million project that will completely redevelop the former Brick Church Plaza shopping center on Main Street. March Construction is the construction manager and general contractor for this ground-up mixed-use residential building, designed by Minno & Wasko. The building will be nine stories with a seven-story parking garage and 200,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and commercial space including a new Super ShopRite.
