A Transformative Milestone
On behalf of March Construction, we extend our warmest congratulations to Montgomery Township and SJC Ventures on the successful groundbreaking of the Montgomery Promenade.
As the chosen construction manager for this ambitious project, we’re thrilled to witness this significant milestone and to be a part of this transformative development.
Strategic Location and Vision
Positioned just off Route 206 South in Montgomery and nestled between Route 518 and the Princeton Airport, the Montgomery Promenade stands as a testament to strategic planning and vision.
With its location on a 54-acre site that remained undeveloped for over 15 years, the significance of this development cannot be overstated.
A Diverse Offering
Scheduled to open its doors in the first quarter of 2025, the Montgomery Promenade promises to be more than just another shopping center.
Anchored by a Whole Foods store, the expansive 292,700-square-foot development is poised to offer an array of retail stores, including the likes of Ulta Beauty, More than Q, Spavia, The Robinson Ale House, and the Turning Point Restaurant.
Beyond shopping, the community can look forward to outdoor dining experiences, a modern movie theater, banking facilities, a daycare, and the unique addition of 34 residential homes.
A Journey from Vision to Execution
A nod must be given to the diligent planning that led to this stage.
With Madison Marquette having originally submitted plans as far back as 2005, the torch was aptly handed to SJC Ventures, a seasoned developer from Atlanta, renowned for specializing in mixed-use developments.
Their expertise in transforming unused lands into vibrant hubs of activity is evident across the eastern United States, making them the ideal partners in bringing Montgomery Promenade to life.
Acknowledging Key Contributions
We’d also like to acknowledge the remarkable work by Bohler Engineering and MMA Architects.
Their invaluable contributions have been instrumental in ensuring the Montgomery Promenade is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, blending seamlessly with Montgomery’s charm.
Community-Centric Design
Designed with the community in mind, the Promenade will feature 1,499 parking spaces, surpassing the size of the Princeton MarketFair.
Notably, to ensure smooth traffic flow, there are plans for a loop road connecting Route 518 to Route 206, aimed at easing congestion at a typically busy intersection.
Looking Forward
In summary, this groundbreaking represents more than the commencement of construction; it symbolizes the collective vision, resilience, and dedication of all stakeholders involved.
As March Construction moves ahead with the project’s execution, we do so with immense pride and a commitment to excellence.
